DISCOVERING AFRICA (HMN160: GLOBAL CONNECTION: DISCOVER AFRICA)

This course is designed to provide students with understanding of the diversity found in the world in terms of beliefs, ideas, and world views by the example of African and American cultures. The course will also help students to acquire some basic communication skills in Swahili language and introduce them to the intercultural communication concepts needed to interact effectively with African people.
